Toddler Sense introduces a whole new world of adventure for toddlers and children up to the age of three years. Great music, great equipment and great new ideas! Imagine climbing a snow mountain, going on safari, digging for fossils, swimming with dolphins and hunting for dinosaurs? Every week introduces a whole new adventure. The main emphasis is on mobility, excitement and adventure. It is a fast-moving, action-packed programme. Toddler Sense is very different to Baby Sensory, but equally addictive.

Visitors are always welcome but please call in advance to reserve your place.

To register your interest, please contact your local Toddler Sense Class Leader.

Experience

My career began as a Nursery Nurse, working in a local nursery. I enjoyed working with babies and pre-schoolers, assisting their early developmental milestones. It was while I was working there that I realised that I wanted to further develop my career and become a teacher.

I enrolled as a student teacher in 1996 and spent four years training to become a primary teacher. During my training I attended many early years settings and worked alongside some incredibly talented professionals. I completed my training at Rolle College in Exmouth (which sadly is not there anymore)in the millennium and began my career as a teacher.

Having gained my qualified teacher status, I then began working in a range of local primary schools as a supply teacher before securing a permanent position at a school in Torquay. I worked at the school for 16 years, making a difference to many children's lives. I had the pleasure of teaching in all year groups from reception to Year 6 and this gave me such a wealth of experience. I loved every minute of it!

Earlier this year, I decide to leave teaching and change the direction of my career.

So, here I am... a Class Leader for Toddler Sense Torbay.
