Toddler Sense South Devon is run by a husband and wife team.

Clare was formally a teacher for 12 years, teaching children from Reception age right up to A-Level.  She spent 9 years as a primary special needs teacher, teaching children with behavioural, emotional and social difficulties, as well as teaching in a specialist unit for children on the autistic spectrum.

Alan was formally an outdoor activities instructor.  He teaches activities such as climbing, kayaking, canoeing, sailing and mountain walking.  He has also worked as a TA in a primary special school.    

They have a 3 year old daughter and spent a year attending Baby Sensory classes before setting up Toddler Sense in order to continue their Baby Sensory journey.  Their second daughter was born at the end of November 2015 and has also attended Baby Sensory.

Description

Clare & Al’s Toddler Sense classes are held in South Devon. The toddler activity classes will be run from their dedicated Toddler Sense premises which opened in March 2017, at Christian Mill Bisiness Park in Crownhill.  If you are looking for an exciting activity which will be fun for you and will help with your toddlers social, physical and cognitive development call your class leader, who will arrange for you and your toddler to visit one of her classes.

Booking a Toddler Sense birthday party couldn't be easier! We provide the venue, entertainment & activities and can even arrange for party food provided by a local caterer.  All you need to bring is a cake, some children, plenty of enthusiasm and just a little bit of energy!  There is a separate room set up for eating, once the activities are over.  Please get in touch to discuss your requirements and arrange a visit to Wow!

Prices

Sessions last 55-60 minutes and comprise of 25-30 minutes Adventurous play followed by 25-30 minutes of sensory

Full Term Prices

Autumn term - £67.50
Summer term for siblings - £50 each

3 week taster bookings (available after 1st September - space permitting) - £15
PAYG (space permitting) - £7.50

If you book part way through the term, you will just pay for the number of sessions remaining.

Siblings under the age of 1 are more than welcome to join their big brothers and sisters free of charge.
