Toddler Sense introduces a whole new world of adventure for toddlers and children up to the age of three years. Great music, great equipment and great new ideas! Imagine climbing a snow mountain, going on safari, digging for fossils, swimming with dolphins and hunting for dinosaurs? Every week introduces a whole new adventure. The main emphasis is on mobility, excitement and adventure. It is a fast-moving, action-packed programme. Toddler Sense is very different to Baby Sensory, but equally addictive.

Experience

I have been running Baby Sensory classes in Fareham and the surrounding area's for 8 years now.  It was always my dream to eventually be able to offer Toddler sense classes also within this area.

I took my two son's Benjamin aged 4 and Thomas aged 2  to Toddler Sense classes.   They absolutely loved it and couldn't wait to go back each week.  This only made me more keen to be able to offer the programme myself. The classes where exciting and energetic with such a wide variety of activities. We were all completely amazed and captivated by the sessions. The classes were great fun, not only for my and my son's but gave me loads of ideas for activities to try at home. The sessions were also a great place to meet other Mums with similar aged children.

For 10 years prior to my being involved with Baby Sensory, I worked as a Nanny, caring for babies and  children from Newborn - 8 years.  For 8 years I also established and ran my own successful arts and craft club, "Sticky Fingers". For 2 years I ran sessions for babies and toddlers, with a popular music group.

I also work as  a fully trained 'Night Nanny' and Sleep Consultant which has given me extensive experience and knowledge about babies and their development.  My experience has also included caring for children with special needs.

Seeing the sheer wonder and delight in my son’s eyes at a Toddler Sense class and watching them take that imaginary journey was a magical, never-to-be-forgotten moment.  I decided that I wanted to share this experience with other Mums and their Toddlers.

Running Baby Sensory and Toddler sense allows me to continue developing my love of working with babies and Toddlers, whilst allowing me the flexibility to spend more time at home with my own children.
