Before becoming a mummy I’d spent many years working as a busy Human Resource Manager in a local school. After the arrival of my first little boy, Hugo in 2013 my world was turned upside down. Structure, order and routine had all disappeared from my life and I was left in chaos with a baby that I struggled to keep stimulated. After feeling isolated and at a loss I decided to go along to a local Baby Sensory class…WOW is the word that I would use to describe that first class. I had found my life line! I remember thinking to myself that I wish I had come to these classes sooner. My little boy who was so hard to entertain at home was captivated, he was so engaged and I could see how much he was enjoying it there. I learnt techniques to engage and stimulate him that I could use at home and I felt so much closer to my little man, it definitely helped with our bonding. I used to look forward to my classes every week where I soon made some great friendships with other local mums, we even decided to have a joint Baby Sensory 1st Birthday party with two other boys who were only a couple of weeks older than Hugo.
My second baby boy Harry came along in 2015. He arrived a little earlier than hoped and was a teenie tiny 2lb 15oz. Having such a rough start in life I was keen to give him the same wonderful experiences Hugo had and I started taking him to Baby Sensory sessions as soon as he was well enough. He too loved it!!
I feel so passionately about the benefits that Baby Sensory has to offer, not only to baby but to mums as well that I was over joyed when I discovered there was an opportunity to run my very own classes. After having my boys I knew I could not return to my previous life as a HR Manager. I had been changed by becoming a mummy and I knew I had to do something different with my life. I now feel excited about my work and I look forward to giving you the same wonderful memories that my Class Leaders gave to me.
Prices
1 hour session includes the Sensory Experience + Exploratory Play
45 min session includes the Sensory Experience.
Bookings are taken in blocks of 8 consecutive weeks at a cost of £60 (for 45 min Sensory only) or £68 (for 1 hour Sensory + Exploratory Play), payable at point of booking.
You are able to join at any time during the term, spaces permitting and pay for the remaining sessions
(for example 5 weeks left of term for sensory only class at £7.50 per class is £37.50).
A one off, NO OBLIGATION trial session is available prior to booking a block at the standard class cost (£7.50 for Sensory only/ £8.50 for Sensory + Exploratory play)

Terms & Conditions;
Twins Discount: 1st baby is charged at full price and the 2nd baby is charged at half price. please note this offer applies to siblings only. When completing your booking please select the twin option in the 'sessions' drop down box and set the 'number of children' to 2. You will then see space to add details for both of your babies. If you have any issues with this, please get in touch with me via email at [email protected]
Missed Sessions: Regretfully, no refunds or concessions can be made for missed sessions, illness or holidays; you are however able to 'gift' your place to a friend so long as you've emailed me with your friends' name and contact details 36 hours prior to gifting the session out. Baby Sensory is under no obligation to refund your money in the event you are unable to attend part or the entire course.
Illness; Baby Sensory Wood Green's policy states that babies should be kept at home if they are ill or have a serious infection. If your baby does have a serious infection please inform me so that i can alert other parents. Please refrain from bringing your baby to classes if they have any illness such as vomiting/diarrhoea, chicken pox, impetigo or hand foot and mouth. please wait until your doctor has given the all-clear before returning to class. In the instance of vomiting/diarrhoea your baby (or yourself) must have been clear of all symptoms for at least 48 hours before attending a session.
Cancellation of classes: Should a class be cancelled due to Class Leader illness, venue unavailability or similar, a catch up class will be offered at another time. However, Baby Sensory has the right to cancel classes without refund in exceptional circumstances beyond our control (fire, flood, treacherous snow etc). In these circumstances a catch up class will be run if possible, but is not guaranteed.
Confirmation: Please note that once registration is completed and your fees paid you have opted to secure your place. Once you have completed the registration it indicates that you have read and agreed to the terms and conditions.
Data Protection; The information on the registration form contains personal data. Baby Sensory will record, process and keep your personal data in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. Information will not be passes on to any third parties.
