Hi, my name is Cathy and welcome to Baby Sensory Western Adelaide!

I am a mum to two wonderful children and it is through them my fascination with how babies develop and learn grew.  I have done a lot of study on developmental movement and sensory input with babies and children, so when I first saw Baby Sensory in action, I instantly was in awe of this unique and special program.   Baby Sensory offers a world full of exciting and stimulating sensory experiences.  It is everything plus more that I was looking for and I am so excited to bring this program to parents, grandparents, aunties, uncles, caregivers and babies in Adelaide.

It is beautiful watching parents and babies interacting with the numerous activities and having fun, plus seeing friendships form within the groups.  In Baby Sensory, babies are hugged, rocked, touched and allowed to move around freely in order to organise their own bodies, which is so important for building a solid foundation on which their future lies. Babies have enormous capacity to absorb information in their first year, you will be amazed! 

Activities include baby signing, fibre optic light shows, balloons, bubbles, bells, feathers, puppet shows, music, songs and rhymes, themed sessions, exploratory play and so much more!

Description

Classes run weekly during school terms and every week has a different theme. 

Each session runs for one hour and consists of sensory activities led by fully trained class leaders, exploratory play where your baby can have free play or a rest and you can meet and chat with other parents and then more class leader led activities.  This class structure fits in with your baby's natural play-rest-play cycle. 

All of the activities are designed to enhance the development of your baby and we pass this valuable information on to you so you gain an understanding of why and how what we do is so important for you baby's brain and body development, plus you can continue most activities at home.

You can join the classes at any time during the term subject to availability.

Venue Directions:

We are in the building on the corner of Port Rd and Marlborough Ave, Woodville.  There is car parking available behind the building off Marlborough Ave.  Please note there is restricted parking in the side streets.

Prices

Sessions are $16.00 - $160 per 10 week term. (Term 1 is 11 weeks, Term 4 is 9 weeks)
