Madeleine 

Having completed my degree in English literature, I spent several years in the catering industry- managing many bars and restaurants. It was a fabulous job with many perks but unfortunately the long hours and unpredictable nature of the industry meant that, having given birth to my son Max, in August 2009, I found myself looking for a new occupation that would help me achieve a better balance. I came across Baby Sensory when I started taking my own son to classes. He was captivated by the amazing themes and I was impressed by the variety of activites. As a parent, I wanted to give my child the best possible start. Baby Sensory stimulates babies and encourages their development during that crucial first year. I delighted in all the ideas I could take home and recreate. I have been running classes in East London and West Essex since January  2011 and couldn't think of anything I would rather do. There is nothing like watching a baby grow in confidence week on week. Every single activity is designed to encourage your baby's development. Our classes are imaginative, structured and provide a host of ideas for home play. Our Walthamstow location – Shernhall Methodist Church- has ample car parking but buggies and prams can also be accommodated. The village is also a short walk if anyone fancies going for a coffee afterwards. Our Chingford classes are held in Mornington Hall- just off Station Road. This hall offers a central location and is also the home of CADOS- the local Amateur Dramatics society. There is limited parking on The Green Walk with paid parking available in the adjoining streets and behind The Co-Op. The Woollard Centre is home to our Buckhurst Hill classes. This hall- just off Loughton Way is big and can accommodate lots of buggies! Our Loughton classes are held in The Masonic Centre -just off the High Road on High Beech Road. There is ample paid parking (65p for 1 hour right opposite our venue. Our classes in Mothercare, Edmonton provide a relaxed setting with a coffee shop and lots of shopping too! In 2015 I had another little boy: Benedict who is a bog fan of Baby Sensory. In  January 2015, Kelly joined the Baby Sensory Team and now runs our Chingford, Loughton and Buckhurst Hill classes.

 My name is Kelly Crane – I discovered baby sensory when my sister told me about it (she was attending classes with her young daughter).  I have two children (Chloe aged 5 and Ronnie 4) and have always loved the idea of working with young babies and encouraging their development.  I attended a few classes with my niece and was hooked!  I started my baby sensory training last February and have been running my own classes since March 2015.

What I love best about baby sensory is how lovely and worthwhile the whole experience is for both babies and parents, learning and having fun. I love to channel my energy into running the classes the best I can. I look forward to welcoming you in class soon!

Description

Our Baby Sensory classes run in Waltham Forest, Redbridge & Edmonton. The Award Winning Baby Development classes are held weekly in Walthamstow, Buckhurst Hill, Chingford & Loughton. These locations are easily accessible for parents living in the local communities of Walthamstow, Leyton, Chingford, Tottenham, Edmonton, Buckhurst Hill, Loughton and Debden, If you are looking for an exciting activity which will be fun for you and will help with your baby’s sensory development call your class leader, Madeleine Grand, who will arrange for you and your baby to visit one of our classes.

Kelly joined the team in January 2015 and has been running the Buckhurst Hill and Chingford classes. Kelly will be running our Loughton classes while Madeleine is on maternity leave.

Prices

Our classes are booked in half terms which vary in length. The breakdown cost of a class is £7.50 paid in advance in a block.

 

We offer Summer sessions over late July and August which tend to be £8.

 

We hold 4 weekend specials over the year. These family friendly sessions tend to be our Baby Pumpkin Ball, Baby's 1st Christmas Party, Mother's Day & Father's Day sessions. The classes vary in price but tend to be between £10- £12.50.
