I am one of the new class leaders to join the Baby Sensory team, I am a very creative person and have a passion for learning and teaching. I found these classes through working in the community in the Norfolk area and immediately they inspired me to want to become part of these amazing sessions and give children the best start in life, so now here i am starting up new classes in a new area, were I can run developmental and fun activities for you and your baby.
My background… I have gained a BA in Footwear Design, and although I loved the design side I found myself focusing more on the children's side of footwear and foot growth i.e. Bio mechanics. After spending my time more in retail, I decided to steer away from Footwear as I found myself wanting to help others more and do more developmental teaching around children. I became a Community Champion and spent my days helping various different groups, charities and people, I also ran activities for school groups which consisted of teaching them about food, development and health. Very excited to be running these classes and look forward to meeting all parents/carers and babies.
Description
Each week your baby will experience a new and exciting themed class, and go on an adventure which will enable their developmental journey. No week on a baby sensory class is the same, with a different lesson plan every week, to ensure the best possible learning and development journey for your baby throughout the year. The classes are designed by Dr. Lin Day, and expert in her field, and each activity within each class is specifically designed to help your baby, experiment, explore, make decisions and solve problems and much more all encouraging progression and giving your baby the best possible development and learning experience, and having fun at the same time!
We pride ourselves on having friendly, welcoming and enjoyable classes and cleanliness is of the utmost importance to our class leaders.

Please note, The Curlew Centre and Calvary Baptist Church has free parking.. The Curlew Centre is located near a park and local shops. Classes in Sutton Bridge are held upstairs, there is a lift available but limited space for buggies.
Children Centres have limited parking, buggies are unable to be brought into the centre but a buggy park is located outside.
Prices
A full term usually consists of 10 classes and costs £70 or £55 if Sensory Only Classes.

You can also book for 5 weeks which costs £35 or £27.50 . You may also wish to book for the number of weeks remaining in the term charged at £7 or £5 per session.
You can join at any point during the term.

All payments should be made in full at the start of your first session if booking for a term, cash or cheque only.
Discounts and Special Circumstances:
Discounts are possible in exceptional circumstances and at our discretion.
Twins and multiple babies:
We are pleased to offer a special rate in this circumstance. The first baby will be charged at the standard rate each baby thereafter will be charged at half rate e.g. In the case of twins the first baby will be charged at £70.00 and the second baby will be charged at £35.00 for the same 10 week block booking. In this case the total = £105.00. It is recommended that you bring another carer with you to help with the babies whenever possible as the Class Leader will not be able to take responsibility for your baby.
Booking Confirmation:
Your place will only be secured once full payment has been received and you have confirmation of this from Baby Sensory. We are currently unable to accept deposits to secure a placement.
Refunds and missed classes:
Due to the high demand and limited spaces available of these classes, we are currently unable to refund monies for missed classes however, if you are unable to attend your regular class, it may be possible for you to come along to another venue that same week subject to availability or to offer your space to a friend (non Baby Sensory members welcome).
Change/Cancellation of venue and class times:
In the event changes occur to your class or venue, every effort will be made to communicate the changes to you as early as possible.
If we have to cancel a class; the payment for this class is either transferrable to your next block booking or a refund can be made.
In unforeseen circumstances it may be necessary for us to cancel a venue indefinitely, sometimes at short notice.
In the event we cancel a venue, we will attempt to firstly offer you a place at another venue. If this cannot be offered or the venue or time is inconvenient to you a refund will be given for remaining weeks owed.

Siblings:
Baby Sensory classes are specifically designed for babies from birth to 13 months of age. We therefore request that children who attend the sessions are within this age bracket. At this time unfortunately we are not able to accommodate older siblings within the classes. However, hopefully in the future if the demand is high enough then it may be possible to add another class which is specifically designed for babies to attend with older siblings. Please email [email protected] if you require further information regarding this.
During school holidays or special classes older siblings may be welcome to attend classes, this will be communicated to you directly by the class leader. If older siblings are in attendance the class leader requests that the older child in no way endangers younger babies or causes disruption to the rest of the class. Should this occur (in very rare and exceptional circumstances) the class leader has complete discretion to ask your family to leave the class.
Special events:
Special events and the cost of these will be posted on our website and on Facebook. Please see separate information regarding this. Non baby sensory members are more than welcome to attend our special events subject to availability. Prices for special events will be slightly higher than the usual class fee.
Please note that parents are responsible for their baby and personal belongings at all times during classes. This is not the responsibility of the class leader.
