Hi, my name is Ali Wood, welcome to Baby Sensory Oxford and Thame!

ABOUT ME
I am married to Adam and we have three wonderful children; Marcus (13), Lewis (11) and Cara (4).
Before joining Baby Sensory, I worked full time in the Pharmaceutical Industry in Clinical Research.  After having Cara, my third child, I decided to take a bit of a career break and enjoy being with her as a full time mum during those wonderful first few years. I also did lots of running around with my 2 boys who seem to do every sport there is to do!

In 2013, Cara and me discovered Baby Sensory and I can honestly say, it was completely different to any other class I had ever attended with any of my children.  I even got my mum to come along to one of Cara's sessions to get her opinion on what she thought!  I was very sad to leave Baby Sensory classes when Cara reached 13 months but 18 months later, I found myself applying for a Class Assistant role at Baby Sensory. It was the only job I considered applying for and brought me back to work a little earlier than anticipated!  I have never looked back and quickly found myself buying the franchise for Oxford city and Thame:-)

MY BABY SENSORY EXPERIENCE
I working alongside Leigh Whitwell at Baby Sensory Wallingford and Radley from March - November 2015 and in November 2015 launched my own classes in Cowley, Oxford and Thame.

OTHER FUN THINGS I DO
I am a Beaver Leader with 1st Benson Scout Group.  I am also a member of the Youth Facilities Group that is linked to Benson Parish Council.  I love spinning and pilates and have an allotment!

CLASSES
Every parent wants the very best for their children and I am convinced that Baby Sensory will give your baby a fantastic start in life.  Baby Sensory is not just 'another class' for parents and babies, but a totally amazing and breathtaking opportunity to enhance your baby's development in a fun and enjoyable way.  It is also a wonderful way to meet new friends and relax with your bundle of joy.  I am delighted to run Baby Sensory in Oxford and Thame and I look forward to welcoming you and your little one to one of my classes.

BSc (hons) Pharmacology
Qualified Beaver Scout Leader, I have my Wood Badge and hold a Nights Away Permit!

Description

Baby Sensory classes run in Cowley, Oxford and Thame.

The Award Winning Baby Development classes are held weekly in Cowley, Oxford and Thame. The locations will be easily accessible for parents living in all Oxford and Thame communities.  
If you are looking for an exciting activity which will be fun for you and will help with your baby’s sensory development call your Class Leader, Ali, who will arrange for you and your baby to visit one of her classes.

Prices

My classes cost £7.50 payable on a termly basis.

A booking must be made online and paid for within 7 days to secure your booking.  Bookings are on a first come first served basis. 

Regrettably no concessions can be made for missed sessions or holidays within a booking.  If a place is available in another of my venues, I can arrange for you to swap for that week.  Alternatively, I do offer a holiday voucher that you can give to a friend to attend in your place.  If you need to cancel your booking, I will be able to reimburse you for classes not attended if I am able to refill your place with someone from the waitlist.
