Baby Sensory’s award winning baby development classes are now running in your area. You and your baby will experience different sensory activities designed to support your baby’s sensory development every week and you are welcome to join at any time. Baby Sensory is an extremely popular Baby Development activity and many of our classes are fully booked, it is advisable to book early.

Visitors are always welcome but please call in advance to reserve your place.

Gemma Bohr- Owner of Baby Sensory and Toddler Sense Chelmsford 

My name is Gemma Bohr and I am happy to introduce you to Baby Sensory Chelmsford District.

I have been running Baby Sensory classes since January 2011 and my classes have been rated Outstanding by Baby Sensory.

I started my Baby Sensory journey as  Nursery Nurse. I was working with children from all ages for over 4 years,  in an OFSTED “Outstanding” rated Day Nursery. During this time I worked closely with children with special needs and children with English as additional language. I’m very proud to say, this then resulted in me being awarded Newcomer of the Year by Nursery World, due to “outstanding dedication”. I loved my job as a Nursery Practitioner, being a part of those children's lives knowing that you have made a difference in their development. Being there when a child takes their first steps, or writes their name for the first time is so rewarding.

After visiting classes in Southend I fell in love with Baby Sensory and what it offers to parents and their babies. Knowing the Early Years Foundation Stages I could see how rewarding Baby Sensory is to a child's development, as it covers all areas of learning as well as bringing mothers and babies close together and I haven't looked back since!!

Sarah Bates - Class leader

In July 2016 the Chelmsford Branch team expanded! Sarah Bates is joining me as one of our very amazing Class Leaders.

Sarah has over 10 years experience in the Early Year’s Education and Child Care industry. Sarah has worked with children and families between the ages of birth to 10 years.  Over the vast career Sarah has had with children, she has had many different roles ranging from an Early Years Practitioner to a Nursery Deputy Manager. Sarah's personal enthusiasm is infectious and her vast knowledge due to her  BA HONS Education Studies and Early Childhood Education is amazing. 

 

Sarah is dedicated to supporting all children to learn and develop in a fun and stimulating environment, allowing them to reach their full potential. Sarah came as a parent to my Baby Sensory classes in Chelmsford with her gorgeous son Archie and fell in love with the programme.

Description

Gemma and Sarah have been running Baby Sensory classes in the Chelmsford area from January 2011. The Award Winning Baby Development classes will be held weekly in Chelmsford, Sandon and South Woodham Ferrers. These locations are easily accessible for parents living in the local communities including; Maldon, Danbury and the Dengie Area. All venues are easily accessed using the A12 or the A130. If you are looking for an exciting activity which will be fun for you and will help with your baby’s sensory development call Gemma, who will arrange for you and your baby to visit one of her classes. Please be aware that waiting lists are in place for many of the classes, so please place an interest early to avoid disappointment.

Prices

Fees:
CLASSES ARE £7.50 A SESSION. CLASSES ARE PAID IN ADVANCE AND THE PRICE IS £7.50x THE AMOUNT OF WEEKS AVAILABLE TO BOOK.
  


Please could you attend your first class 5 minutes in advance of the start time. This gives the Class Leader an opportunity to speak you. This is so they can explain what to expect from Baby Sensory also for you to ask any questions you would like to.



Online Bookings:


Please ensure you fill out the registration details correctly, including the class you would like to attend. If you find you would like to change classes once confirmation has been sent, I will try my best to swap the classes for you however, please note this could be difficult, especially if the term has begun and classes are full, therefore it is not always guaranteed. To book your baby's place please contact Gemma Bohr (details below) Please note by registering your baby you are also agreeing to adhere to our terms and conditions as set as below. 

Illness: Parents are asked to keep their babies at home if they have a serious infection and to inform the setting as to the nature of the infection so that other parents can be alerted

Holidays: Here at Baby Sensory I try and coincide the holidays with the local school holidays/half terms and we do not operate on Bank holidays.

Refunds/Cancellations of classes: Baby Sensory will endeavour to run classes during bad weather e.g. treacherous snow conditions. However, should classes need to be cancelled you will be notified/ contacted. Alternatively, you can contact me at any time on or via email. Baby Sensory has the right to cancel classes without refund in exceptional circumstances beyond my control (fire, flood, serious illness, treacherous snow etc) but if possible we will run a catch up class at an alternative time, however, this is not guaranteed. Once payment has been received places are secured. All places are nonrefundable and non-transferable. Baby Sensory is under no obligation to refund or transfer your money in the event that you are unable to attend part of or the entire course. Only if availability permits, we shall try to offer an alternative for missed lessons. However this is not guaranteed. You are also welcome to offer your place to a friend as a gift. If you want to offer your place to another please notify me as soon as possible so that I can amend my registers. Thank you for your co-operation.

Baby Sensory reserves the right to cancel a child's place at the class leader's discretion, in such an event you will be refunded the remainder of your classes.

 Wait list: If our class/classes are full then you are welcome to join our waiting list. Our waiting list gives us the chance to contact parents if a place becomes available and is based on a first come first serve basis. 

Data Protection: The information on registration form contains personal data. Baby Sensory will record, process and keep your personal information secure in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. Information will not be passed/sent out to a third party.

Confirmation: Please note that once registration is completed along with the fee indicated you have opted to secure your place. You will receive confirmation via e-mail once your baby’s booking is confirmed.

Confidentiality: Baby Sensory prides itself on creating original and unique ideas to ensure and deliver a top quality service. Certain content and information provided throughout our classes are copy written and under ownership of Baby Sensory. Baby Sensory grants you a limited, personal, license to use ideas for home use only. Baby Sensory kindly asks customers not to copy, reproduce, create derivative works of, reverse engineer, alter, enhance or in any way exploit any of the Baby Sensory materials in any manner such as use of ideas in a public place, promotional event without permission from the copyright holders.

ALL ONLINE PAYMENTS ARE DUE AS SOON AS YOU HAVE PLACED YOUR BOOKING.

If your payment has not been received within 7 days your booking will be cancelled automatically .

BACs detailed will be sent via email upon your booking.

If you pay via cheque, any charges from a ‘bounced’ cheque will be passed on to you. If the term has already begun, you can still join at any time, providing there a space available. Please contact me for further details.
