After leaving my role as Deputy Headteacher at a lovely Primary School in North Devon to have my second child, I took a short career break after 13 years of primary teaching, before entering the exciting world of becoming a Baby Sensory Class Leader.
As a mum of two young children I firstly attended baby sensory classes in 2012. I watched my daughters eyes magically light up as we started to sing the 'Hello Song' each week and watched her learn the signs for various words, interact with the other babies and grow in confidence over the 12 months we attended baby sensory. I have since returned with my baby boy who loves the feathers, songs and light wands.
Now it is your turn to join in the awe and wonder with me and your precious little one. I feel very honoured to be part of such a incredible team and of course be part of this early learning journey with you and your baby. I can promise you will have many special moments, and capture many precious memories during your time together in our classes.

Suitable for babies from 0-15 months
Bookings made in blocks of 10 sessions

Classes run on fixed terms but can be joined at any time providing there is space

Baby Sensory Terms and Conditions
Booking and renewal.
To book please contact your class leader for a registration form and payment details. Your place is secure once payment is received. Classes are payable in advance to ensure a high quality programme; equally all our expenses are payable in advance. Please be aware once you have booked and paid, the classes are non-refundable. Your class leader will open up class lists for rebooking to 'current' parents, any available places will then be offered to 'new' parents. Taster sessions are FREE and are for parents who have not experienced Baby Sensory before. Discount offered for twins / triplets. Classes run in rolling terms throughout the year, including the summer holidays. You can join a class at any time if places are available and bookings are always made in blocks of 5 or 10 weeks. We endeavour to get you a place in the class of your choice, but if no place is available you are welcome to join the waiting list.
Refunds and cancellations.
Every effort will be made to ensure classes are run as planned, however unfortunately there may be unforeseen circumstances that prevent classes running. In the event of your class leader having to cancel a class an alternative session will be offered. Every effort will be made to inform you of any cancellation in good time either by telephone, text, email or via the website or Facebook. In the event of classes having to be relocated no refund will be offered if the alternative is within 1 mile of the original venue on the same day and time. You will be notified of any such change as soon as practicable and if possible with a minimum of 7 days notice.Please update your contact information so we can contact you in the event of any changes or cancellations. If snow falls class updates will be available on the web page and local Facebook pages.
Please note missed classes cannot be refunded and an alternative class in a different venue will be offered if there is space. If you wish to come to an alternative class it is your responsibility to contact us to arrange. Regretfully Baby Sensory is unable to offer concessions for sickness or holidays but you are welcome to give your place to a friend if you know you will be away for a week or two. Please contact our office to inform us of a change in person attending including their name, baby's name, date of birth and a contact number. If you choose to cancel your block after the booking has been made no refund can be given unless your space can be filled. Baby Sensory will make refund arrangements with the customer if this is possible.
Prices
Pricing and Booking Information
PLEASE ENSURE YOU HAVE READ THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS BEFORE BOOKING ON THE CLASSES
Prices are as follows -
£7 per class x number of weeks in term, which is usually 10 weeks (i.e Spring term £7 x 10 weeks = £70).
Regretfully, Baby Sensory cannot offer a weekly payment option, but we may be able to offer you a split payment, 50% within 7 days of booking and the balance at least 7 days before classes start, please contact us if this is an option for you.
Bookings are non-transferrable in most cases but Baby Sensory may be able to split your booking across two venues if spaces become available.
If you have a prior hospital or doctor’s appointment and are unable to make your usual session we may be able to fit you into another class that week. Please contact Kerrie enquire.
If you are unable to attend classes at all for one or two weeks due to a holiday, you are very welcome to gift your space to a friend with a baby. Please do get in touch if you would like to do this.
If your class leader is unable to run your class because of illness etc you will be notified of cancellation by text or phone call. Baby Sensory will endeavour to run a 'catch up' class at the end of the term to replace your session. If this isn't possible you will receive a full refund.
In certain exceptional circumstances Baby Sensory may be prevented from running classes due to situations beyond their control. These may include floods or treacherous driving conditions (snow or ice) which would pose a risk to our class leaders and parents if they ventured onto the roads. On these occasions Baby Sensory would endeavour to offer a 'catch up' class at the end of the term, but if this wasn't possible Baby Sensory reserves the right not to refund due to the exceptional nature of the circumstances.
Twins or multiples - We offer a discount for twins, triplets etc. Please enquire for terms and conditions.
Trial sessions are available in class by prior arrangement. Please enquire for details. If you are offered a free trial this is non transferable.
