Who runs the classes?
Baby Foundations is committed to providing excellence of service and care, which sets the scene for everything that follows. Our fully trained, experienced Practitioners are passionate about teaching and keen to make your Baby Foundations journey interesting, meaningful, enjoyable and memorable. To keep on top of leading research, our Practitioners regularly attend training courses to build on their continued professional development.

We are so proud to be part of such a worthwhile charity.
Tommy’s Charity is the largest charity funding research into the causes of miscarriage, stillbirth and premature birth. Tommy’s are also there as a support and provide information to you.
Tommy’s are supported by Baby Foundations funding research and information about pregnancy issues. Tommy’s aim to reduce the amount of miscarriages and stillbirths in the 21st Century.
In 2014, we raised £187,000, which helped to open a brand new research centre!
In 2016, we raised a staggering £422,374!!
So..... in total we raised a whopping £500,000 in the last 2 years!

About the programme
We present the most recent research evidence, top tips, practical approaches, techniques, and information about your pregnancy and your baby, services, products, equipment and alternatives so that you can make an informed choice about what works best for you and your baby.
As soon as you hold your beautiful baby in your arms, a whole new world of learning begins for you and your baby. You may have questions such as:
How often do I feed my baby?
How much sleep does my baby need?
Why does my baby cry?
Why has my baby lost weight?
The list goes on, but we can answer these questions, put your mind at rest, and give you support and confidence in your parenting abilities.
Baby Foundations is based on the recommendations the World Health Organization and The Baby Friendly Initiative - and approved by healthcare professionals.
About the founder
Dr Lin Day (PhD, M.Phil, PGCE, BSc, Dip Ed, SRN), is one of the UK’s leading parenting experts, a renowned author within the field of childcare and education, and the founder of the award-winning national and international programmes Baby Sensory and Toddler Sense. Lin designed Baby Foundations to address questions raised by parents over the years and to share some of the remarkable research that can make a real difference to their lives.
Lin is extremely passionate about babies and wants to share her experiences and expertise with you as parents.
