My first experience of Baby Sensory and Toddler Sense was as a Mum. I took my youngest child from the age of six weeks to a local class whilst on maternity leave from my job as a primary school teacher and was immediately hooked! We both loved the songs, sensory activities and the opportunity to socialise with parents, grandparents and babies alike. We knew we had to continue the journey somehow once we graduated so it was time to search for Toddler Sense classes. With no local classes the thought of starting up my own began to take shape...
We attended Jayne and Vicky's classes at Festival Park and although the classes were different to Baby Sensory (half an hour of themed free play with soft play equipment and bouncy castles followed by more structured sensory activities and games) we were once again hooked! The look of pure joy on my son's face the first time we stepped into the room told me we had found a new place to play together and make new friends.
In the meantime lots of planning and discussion was going on to set up new classes in Staffordshire Moorlands... and here we are today! We hope you can join us on our exciting journey.
Description
Classes are available in Cheadle in the Staffordshire Moorlands at Cheadle Guildhall. The venue is perfectly located in the centre of Cheadle Town, with free parking accessed via Morrison's car park and baby changing facilities. The venue offers a large room with plenty of space for bouncy castle and soft play fun! With such a central location you will find plenty of places to have coffee or lunch after class, a local library and the benefit of being able to pop into the supermarket for a pint of milk!
Classes in Leek are held at the Saint Paul's Church Centre on Novi Lane. The venue offers free parking as well as baby changing facilities and is perfectly located on the edge of town next to a local primary school, nurseries and Children's Centre.
Classes in Weston Coyney take place on Mondays at Weston Coyney Village Hall. There is plenty of free parking, changing facilities and can be easily located by Sat Nav using the post code ST3 6NQ.
Prices
Classes are payable in advance at a cost of £6.50 per class (£10 for two siblings) for a 7 week rolling term - £45.50 in total for one child. Classes run consecutively in term times in line with Staffordshire Moorlands school holidays. Take advantage of our current taster session offer - 3 classes for £19.50! The three sessions allow toddlers the chance to experience the variety of different activities we offer and the opportunity to really get stuck in and enjoy themselves!

TERMS & CONDITIONS:
Classes: Classes run throughout term time. You can join a class at any time if a place is available. Alternatively you can join the waiting list for a place when one becomes available. Once you have completed your booking you must attend consecutive weeks.
Confirmation: Once you have completed the registration process you will receive a confirmation email. This indicates you have read and agreed to these terms and conditions.
Payment: Toddler Sense can only hold your place for 7 days without payment. You will receive a reminder but if payment remains outstanding Toddler Sense reserves the right to cancel your booking.
Missed Sessions: Toddler Sense is unable to offer concessions for sickness or holidays but you are welcome to give your place to a friend if you know you will be away one week. Please contact us to inform us of a change in person attending including their name, baby's name, date of birth and a contact number.
Medical Appointment: If you have a prior hospital or doctor's appointment and are unable to make your usual session please contact me to discuss.
Twins and Multiples Discount: Please contact me for more information regarding the discount for twins and multiples.
Groups: If you are part of a group who would like to join together, please let us know and we will look at accommodating all of you.
Data Protection: The information you provide during registration contains personal data. Baby Sensory will record, process and keep your personal information secure in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. Information will not be passed/sent out to a third party.
Illness: Toddler Sense's policy states that toddlers should be kept at home if they are ill or have a serious infection. If a serious infection has occurred, please let us know so that we can inform other parents.
Cancellation of classes: Toddler Sense will endeavour to run classes during bad weather e.g. treacherous snow conditions. However should we need to cancel a class, parents will be contacted by email/text. Toddler Sense reserves the right to cancel classes in exceptional circumstances beyond our control (e.g. fire, flood, treacherous snow, serious illness etc). If your class leader is unable to run your class because of illness etc Toddler Sense will try and substitute an alternative class leader. If this isn't possible you will be notified of cancellation by text/email or phone call and the missed class carried over or an alternative session offered.
All places are non-refundable/ non-transferable: Toddler Sense is under no obligation to refund or transfer your money in the event that you are unable to attend part of or the entire course. You are welcome to attend a different session if you are unable to make your own session but this is dependent upon availability in the class and must be discussed with me first. You are however, welcome to offer your place to a friend as a gift. If you are wanting to offer your place to another, please notify me as soon as possible so that I can amend my registers. Thank you for your co-operation.
Fees: Each class is £6.50 and is payable in blocks of 7 weeks (prices effective from December 2016). Payment can be made by online bank transfer or PayPal. If you wish to pay by cash please call me to confirm.
