Experience

Nansi - I have spent much of the past fifteen years working with children of school age in one way or another alongside my career as an actress. I have done a great deal of theatre in schools including introducing children as young as four to Shakespeare. I have taught drama to children aged 6-18, run youth groups and worked as a teaching assistant in various nurseries and schools, many of them for children with severe learning difficulties, in these schools I learned a great deal about the importance of sensory activities. Since having my daughter in the summer of 2008 I have learned so much about the importance of the months and years before a child goes to school, and have found these discoveries fascinating and great fun to experience with her. I am delighted to have had the chance to learn more about baby development, to have learned from Dr Lin Day with all her wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm and, now, to be able to bring Baby Sensory to other parents.

Sari - I graduated from university with a Psychology degree and then went on to train as an Acupuncturist. Prior to the birth of my little boy in March 2009 my experience with children was limited to looking after my little sister who is 18 years younger than me and spending time with the babies of my friends and family. When my son was born my life changed completely, and I was amazed at how quickly he changed and how aware he was of his surroundings. I also realised that when you are at home on your own with a small baby it can sometimes be challenging trying to think of interesting things to do. I first discovered Baby Sensory when I took my son to his first class at 4 months old, and we were totally hooked from day one. We have since relocated back to my home town of Teddington, and when searching for my nearest class I discovered that Baby Sensory was yet to come to this area. I am now thrilled to be sharing these brilliant classes with other parents and helping them to find new and exciting ways to interact with their babies whilst sharing some adult company and having fun themselves.

Qualifications

Description

Nansi and Sari's Baby Sensory classes run in Middlesex and Surrey. The Award Winning Baby Development classes are held weekly in Teddington, Thames Ditton, Cobham and Twickenham. These locations are easily accessible for parents living in the local communities including; Teddington, Twickenham, Hampton, Molesey, Walton-on-Thames, Esher and Hersham. If you are looking for an exciting activity which will be fun for you and will help with your baby’s sensory development call your Class Leaders, Nansi or Sari, who will arrange for you and your baby to visit one of their classes.

Refunds and Cancellations

In the event that you are unable to make a class due to sickness, appointments or holidays, you can send a friend in your place or make up the class in an alternative venue during the same week.

When you have reserved a place in your class you may apply for a full refund within 14 days. If your booking is within 7 of the class unfortunately BS Teddington Limited will be unable to offer a refund.

In the event of classes being cancelled by situations beyond our control. These may include floods or treacherous driving conditions (snow or ice) which would pose a risk to our class leaders and parents. BS Teddington Limited would endeavour to offer a 'catch up' class at the end of the term however reserves the right not to offer a refund or extra class.

Prices

Bookings and payments are to be made by the term and each term varies in length. The cost per week is £8.50.
