Suzy: I first heard about baby sensory classes shortly after the birth of my daughter. Several of my friends from different parts of the country were raving about these spectacular classes they were going to with their babies, and this got me interested so I looked into classes in the local area. There was a waiting list so we didn’t manage to get started with the classes until my daughter was 10 weeks old. I knew within minutes of the class starting that this would be the highlight of the week for us, and would be invaluable in giving my daughter the best possible start in life. My daughter was mesmerised by the activities and magical atmosphere, and after the class had the most satisfying afternoon nap! I loved the variety and pace of the class, and found all the developmental information fascinating. I left that afternoon full of ideas for things to try at home, and that night told my partner that I thought I had found the perfect job for me……if only there was a job available! We had been going to classes for 2 months when a class leader position became available, after a very thorough interview process I was thrilled to be offered the position. I had been the manager of a residential children’s home for the Previous 12 years and felt that the position of class leader would continue to enable me to help give children the best possible start in life. I’m thrilled to be joining the baby sensory team and can’t wait to share the magical experience with the babies of Norwich.

Qualifications

SUZY IS GRADED AS AN OUTSTANDING BABY SENSORY CLASS LEADER, ONE OF THE BEST IN THE COUNTRY! 

Suzy: For the past 16 years I’ve worked in professional childcare settings, 4 years as a learning facilitator for autistic children and the last 12 years in residential care for children with emotional and behavioural difficulties. I am a registered social worker and hold care management qualifications. I’ve studied early years childhood development at degree level and have been responsible for presenting training in the assessment of young people. By joining the baby sensory team I will be able to continue with my lifelong passion of working with children and their families. 

In December 2013 Suzy was graded an 'OUTSTANDING' class Leader for Baby Sensory, we are super proud of Suzy's achievement, and she was sent this letter by the founder of the company, Dr Lin Day…

Congratulations on achieving an ‘Outstanding’ grade in your recent assessment. This incredible achievement shows that you are running classes to the highest possible standard. Thank you for striving to achieve excellence in provision, safety, care and teaching.

The Award Winning Baby Development classes are currently being held weekly in Norwich, In Cringleford, St Cuthberts church Hall annex Sprowston, and St Catherines Church Hall on the Aylsham Road, we also have classes now running in Wymondham.These locations are easily accessible for parents living in the local communities.
