Toddler Sense introduces a whole new world of adventure for toddlers and children up to the age of three years. Great music, great equipment and great new ideas! Imagine climbing a snow mountain, going on safari, digging for fossils, swimming with dolphins and hunting for dinosaurs? Every week introduces a whole new adventure. The main emphasis is on mobility, excitement and adventure. It is a fast-moving, action-packed programme. Toddler Sense is very different to Baby Sensory, but equally addictive.

Visitors are always welcome but please call in advance to reserve your place.

To register your interest, please contact your local Toddler Sense Class Leader.

Experience

Kate Smith (Franchisee) - I have always worked in the Early Years Sector, mainly in a nursery environment. I set up and I managed one of Exeter's largest nursery settings, for over 11 years. My passion for early sensory development has only grown since having my own two children now 9 and 5 years old.  I believe that the Toddler Sense experience is such a wonderful learning opportunity for every child!

Katie Murchie (Class Leader) - I am very pleased to have Katie as my class leader, Katie is a mum to Darcey and Reef (full of the Toddler spirit!). Having worked with Katie in a nursery setting, I couldn't think of a better person to run these amazing classes for me. Initially launching my Baby Sensory classes in 2015 she now leads our Toddler Sense classes on some magical adventures.

We would like to welcome you all to our Exeter classes.

Qualifications

Kate Smith (Franchisee) - I am a qualified Nursery Nurse  and part way through my Early Years Degree with the Open University. I have had DBS checks and have attended numerous training courses on child development, first aid and safegaurding. I have completed both the Baby Sensory and Toddler Sense training.

Katie Murchie (Class Leader) - I qualifield with a Btec National Diploma in Early Years in 2005 and have worked in childcare for the last 10 years, working in nurseries with babies and toddlers. I am DBS checked. I have always enjoyed learning about children's early learning and development and love what Toddler Sense has to offer Toddlers and their parents. I feel very privileged to be able to teach the Toddler Sense programme to all the mummies and daddies.
I have also completed the Baby Sensory and Toddler Sense training programme.

Description

The Toddler Sense programme is for children from 13 months to 5 years (ages are split into 2 age groups, 13-24 months and 24 months- 5 years) and has been designed to build on the skills acquired at Baby Sensory. Toddler Sense was created by Baby Sensory founder, Dr. Lin Day (PhD Dip. Ed. BSc. PGCE. M. Phil). The primary aim of this programme is to encourage toddlers and children to become more active through practical and exciting play. Our Toddler Classes include great music, equipment, games and new ideas! Imagine climbing a snow mountain, going on safari, digging for fossils, swimming with dolphins and hunting for dinosaurs? Every week introduces new activities and a whole new adventure. The main emphasis is on mobility, excitement and adventure. It is a fast-moving, action-packed programme.
