Toddler Sense introduces a whole new world of adventure for toddlers and children up to the age of three years. Great music, great equipment and great new ideas! Imagine climbing a snow mountain, going on safari, digging for fossils, swimming with dolphins and hunting for dinosaurs? Every week introduces a whole new adventure. The main emphasis is on mobility, excitement and adventure. It is a fast-moving, action-packed programme. Toddler Sense is very different to Baby Sensory, but equally addictive.

Visitors are always welcome but please call in advance to reserve your place.

Experience

I discovered Baby Sensory Ltd after becoming a mum in 2015.  Having a baby developing into a toddler at a fast rate made me realise that classes offering variety, excitement, development and enough adventure to exhaust my little one were in short supply!!

After investigating the Toddler Sense programme and seeing the fresh new ideas and action-packed adventure on offer I knew this was the missing piece - and was the new adventure I needed in my life.

I am delighted to be offering Toddler Sense to the Crawley Region and look forward to your little ones bringing their natural enthusiasm and energy, so that we can all have a great time! 

 

 

Qualifications

My background is as an HR professional, focussed on Operational HR and Shared Services mainly in the financial services sector.
 
I am also a certified NLP Practitioner.

 

 

Description

Our active sessions are jam-packed with wonderful fun and interactive activities, action songs, games, puppets, instruments and so much more!

Each week we welcome you and your toddler to a warm, welcoming and inviting environment. When you arrive it’s time to play! Come and join us in our fabulous exploratory play area, which is not only a great place to play, but also encourages a wide variety of skills from social (making new friends) to physical (climbing, rolling, bouncing) to emotional (it’s so much fun!) to cognitive development (“How do I get over this obstacle course?”) plus lots more!

Adventure play is followed by structured, themed activities, which provide a wealth of ideas that can be continued at home. You will be amazed by the variety of activities in the Toddler Sense session each week.

Each session is designed to help with the development of vital physical, communication, learning and social skills that will form the basis of their future learning. 

 

Prices

Toddler Sense classes are available for booking in terms.  A term is normally a block 11 classes and costs £8 per 50 minute class (£88 for an 11 week term).  Discounts are available for twins/siblings (please see terms and conditions).

You are welcome to join at any time during our term providing there is a space available. All prices will be adjusted to your start date. Regretfully we do not offer pay as you go classes with the exception of any “special” classes offered.

5 weeks flexible term
This package offers you the flexibility for those planned and unplanned events that may occur during the term.  You are welcome to attend any 5 sessions within the term and a register of attendance will be taken at each session. A flexible term costs £45.

Specials

Our Christmas special will be a 1 hour class and cost £12.  Numbers are limited for the class to allow room for both parents and siblings to attend.  Normal policies apply for siblings.

Terms and Conditions

Toddler Sense classes are available for booking in terms. A term is normally a block of 11 classes and costs £8 per 50 minute class (£88 for an 11 week term). Twin/sibling discounts available, please see below.  You are welcome to join at any time during our term providing there is a space available and all prices will be adjusted to your start date.

A flexible 5 week term may be available for booking offering the flexibility for planned and unplanned events.   Prior notification of dates of attendance is not required but is very helpful.  The flexi term booking offer is limited has limited booking spaces in each class and may be withdrawn at any time.

Regretfully we do not offer pay as you go classes except for special events where notified.

Registration and Payment by On-line Transfer: To book a Toddler Sense place, please follow the online booking process. Please ensure that you fill out the registration details fully and correctly, including the class that you would like to attend.  Fees paid are non-transferable and non-refundable however if you find you would like to change classes once confirmation has been sent, we will try our best to swap the classes for you. However, please note that this could be difficult, especially if the term has begun and classes are full - therefore being able to change class is not guaranteed.  Please note that by registering your child and completing payment you are also agreeing to adhere to these terms and conditions

You will receive confirmation of your booking by email including class dates, venue and bank details. Places are allocated on a first come first served basis and are only secured once payment has been received

Class Age Ranges: Generally children will join classes designed for their age and stage of development.  Younger siblings are permitted to attend a class designed for an older age if you believe this will be suitable for your child.

Refunds/Cancellations of classes: Once a term has started all places are non refundable. Toddler Sense has the right to cancel classes without refund in exceptional circumstances beyond their control (fire, flood, vehicle breakdown, serious illness, treacherous snow etc. but if possible will run a catch up class at an alternative time, however, this is not guaranteed.

Toddler Sense is under no obligation to refund or transfer your money in the event that you are unable to attend part of or the entire course (or any classes booked). We regret that we are unable to offer an alternative for missed lessons. You are however welcome to offer your place to a friend or family member who also has a child that is in the same age range as your class. If you are wanting to offer your place to another please notify us as soon as possible so that I can amend my registers. Thank you for your cooperation.

Trial/Taster Classes: Trial classes are available during the term subject to availability charged at £8.  Special offers are available time to time and are published on this site.  Only one taster booking per child.  Where a taster course is booked these must be taken in consecutive weeks.  Trial/Taster offers are available on full class terms only, not available on any special classes.

Twins or Sibling Discount: There is a discount for twins or siblings, but only for 1 parent accompanying 2 children. The first child is charged at full price and the second child is charged at half price

Health and Safety: The health and safety of children and parents in our classes is of paramount importance. We adhere to strict health and safety guidelines and make sure that every aspect of care is delivered to the highest possible standard.

Please do not allow your child to eat or drink in either the free play or activity area

Children must be supervised by the adult who brings them to Toddler Sense at all times.  

Children must remove their outdoor shoes and socks for the play area and activity area for safety reasons (they can either be barefoot or bring grip-socks to put on for the classes).

Adults must also remove their outdoor shoes for both the play area and activity area. 

Please make us aware if your child has any allergies, special requirements or medical conditions.

Please ensure you listen to instructions given.

Illness:  Parents are asked to keep their toddlers/children at home if they have a serious infection or illness and to inform us as to the nature of the infection so that other parents can be alerted in confidence and with sensitivity   If your child has a serious infection (such as chickenpox), please keep them at home until your doctor has given the all-clear to return to classes. In the instance of sickness and diarrhoea, your child must have been clear of all symptoms for at least 48 hours before returning to classes. Please do not bring any older children who are not well enough to attend nursery or school.

Older Siblings: Our classes are designed for toddlers/children from the age of 13 months to 5 years only. During holidays and teacher training days older siblings 5 years + will be able to attend but won't be able to participate due to health and safety reasons.  You are welcome to bring along games, colouring books story books etc., to keep them entertained.  

Younger Siblings:Younger babies (aged between birth and 12 months) attending with their older sibling must be supervised at all times and are not permitted to participate in activities or play on the equipment due to health and safety reasons.

Renewals: Before your booking runs out you will be contacted to ask whether you wish to renew for another term. You will need to book online and pay in advance within 48 hours

Disruption Policy:  Toddler Sense will endeavor to run classes during bad weather e.g. treacherous snow conditions. However, should classes need to be cancelled you will be notified as soon as possible via our facebook page and via email

Data Protection: The information on registration form contains personal data. Toddler Sense will record, process and keep your personal information secure in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. Information will not be passed/sent out to a third party

Confidentiality: Toddler Sense prides itself on creating original and unique ideas to ensure and deliver a top quality service. Certain content and information provided throughout our classes are copy written and under ownership of Toddler Sense. Toddler Sense grants you a limited, personal, license to use ideas for home use only. Toddler Sense kindly asks customers not to copy, reproduce, create derivative works of, reverse engineer, alter, enhance or in any way exploit any of the Toddler Sense materials in any manner such as use of ideas in a public place, promotional event without permission from the copyright holders

Video and Photography:  While the atmosphere we encourage at Toddler Sense means that parents, carers, grandparents and friends should feel comfortable taking photographs or video footage of their children enjoying Toddler Sense, we would also ask that everyone remains sensitive to the feelings of others and always stop filming or taking photographs if asked to do so. Toddler Sense cannot be held liable for the actions of third parties and, therefore, excludes to the fullest extent possible by law any liability arising from a breach of this section ('Video and Photography') by any party.  Videoing the entire class is not permitted for confidentiality and copyright reasons

Valuables: Any property left in vehicles, in buggies, in the entrance halls, by the sidelines, or elsewhere at the Toddler Sense venues is left at your own risk. Toddler Sense cannot accept any responsibility for the loss or damage of any of your personal possessions.

Changes to Terms and Conditions: From time to time these terms and conditions may be updated at the discretion of Toddler Sense Crawley Region.
