Toddler Sense introduces a whole new world of adventure for toddlers and children up to the age of three years. Great music, great equipment and great new ideas! Imagine climbing a snow mountain, going on safari, digging for fossils, swimming with dolphins and hunting for dinosaurs? Every week introduces a whole new adventure. The main emphasis is on mobility, excitement and adventure. It is a fast-moving, action-packed programme. Toddler Sense is very different to Baby Sensory, but equally addictive.

Visitors are always welcome but please call in advance to reserve your place.

To register your interest, please contact your local Toddler Sense Class Leader.

Prices

A term at Toddler Sense costs £45: that's for 6 classes at the rate of £7.50 per class and the end of term special is included at the normal class rate.

Our specials are on the usual class days and times and every child receives a quality gift - and we try to arrange for something else to be special about those classes too, whether by having a photographer along or something similar.

The classes must be booked and paid for in advance to secure your child's place.

Twins or siblings have a discounted rate (for 1 parent bringing 2 children) - the first child is charged at full price and the second child is charged at half price.

If you have not booked a place in advance and want to join us on the day, you will need to contact Helen on 07935 339329 or by emailing [email protected] to confirm whether the class is full or not.  The 'pay as you go' rate is £8.00 per 'normal' session (and £12.00 for the specials if these are not booked and paid for in advance).

Toddler Sense Ashford and Maidstone Terms and Conditions

Registration:  To book a Toddler Sense place, please follow the online booking process.  Please ensure that you fill out the registration details fully and correctly, including the class that you would like to attend.  Once you have completed this, your child's place will be reserved for 7 days and to secure their booking full payment needs to be made within this timescale.  If you find you would like to change classes once confirmation has been sent, we will try our best to swap the classes for you.  However, please note that this could be difficult, especially if the term has begun and classes are full - therefore being able to change class is not guaranteed.  Please note that by registering your child and completing payment you are also agreeing to adhere to these terms and conditions.

Health and Safety:
Children must be supervised by the adult who brings them to Toddler Sense at all times.  In particular, children must be constantly supervised on the bouncy castles - horseplay should not be allowed and children must not climb or lean on the walls of the bouncy castles.  Children must remove their outdoor shoes and socks for the play area and activity area for safety reasons (they can either be barefoot or bring grip-socks to put on for the classes).  Adults must also remove their outdoor shoes for both the play area and activity area.  Food and drinks are not allowed in the play area or activity area at any time.  However, space permitting, an area will be set aside at each venue with a picnic blanket where you and your child can have a drink or snack.  Please make us aware if your child has any allergies, special requirements or medical conditions.  This information will be treated in confidence and with sensitivity.  If your child has a serious infection (such as chickenpox), please keep them at home until your doctor has given the all-clear to return to classes.  In the instance of sickness and diarrhoea, your child must have been clear of all symptoms for at least 48 hours before returning to classes.  In the event of illness, please do let us know.

Commitment to Equal Opportunities:
Toddler Sense has a commitment to ensure that the equipment and activities are of equal value and of equal worth to everyone regardless of race, culture, language, gender, age, experience, religion, background, ability or disability.  Please contact us if you would like to see the full Equal Opportunities Policy for Toddler Sense Ashford and Maidstone.

Policies:  Toddler Sense Ashford and Maidstone also has a detailed Child Protection Policy, Health and Safety Policy, Fire Policy, and Risk Assessments.  If you would like to view any of these documents or have any queries about these, please contact us.

Twins or Sibling Discount:  There is a discount for twins or siblings, but only for 1 parent accompanying 2 children.  The first child is charged at full price and the second child is charged at half price.

Other Siblings:  We are aware that lots of parents do have other children.  However, please note that our classes are designed for children aged from 13 months to a maximum of 4 years only.  Younger babies (aged between birth and 12 months) attending with their older sibling must be supervised at all times.  Please be aware that if children are aged above 4 years they will not be able to play on the equipment or participate in the activities due to health and safety reasons.  They are welcome to attend; however, it is recommended that you bring along colouring books, story books, etc. to keep them entertained during the sessions.

Holidays:  Toddler Sense Ashford and Maidstone runs throughout the year, with regular breaks that we try to align with the local school holiday dates and Bank Holidays.

Renewals:  Before your booking runs out you will be contacted to ask whether you wish to renew for another term.  You will need to book online and pay in advance within 7 days as usual.

Refunds/Cancellation of Classes:  Once payment has been received, your child's place is secured.  All places are non-refundable.  Toddler Sense is under no obligation to refund or transfer your money in the event that you are unable to attend part of or the entire set of classes you have booked (for example, due to holidays or sickness).  You are however welcome to offer your place as a gift to a friend or family member who also has a child that is in the same age range as your class.  If you do want to give your place to someone else, please let us know as soon as possible so that the registers can be amended.  Another option is that, if there is a space available, you and your child can attend another Toddler Sense Ashford and Maidstone class of the same age range on another day in the same week as the class you missed.  We regret that we are unable to offer any other alternative for missed classes.  Unfortunately what seems like one simple request is an impractical administrative task when spread across dozens of clients and a  number of classes.  Toddler Sense Ashford and Maidstone will endeavour to run classes during bad weather (such as snow).  However, should classes need to be cancelled, you will be contacted as far in advance as possible (so please make sure that your contact phone number and email address are kept up to date).  If a class is cancelled, where possible a catch-up class will be run at an alternative time; however, this is not guaranteed.  If a catch-up class is run, you will be informed by email when this session is.  If you are unable to attend, you must inform us within 7 days to receive a refund.  Otherwise refunds are not available if the catch-up class is not attended as the usual terms and conditions for missed sessions apply.  In exceptional or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control (fire, flood, serious illness, treacherous snow, etc.), Toddler Sense Ashford and Maidstone has the right to cancel classes without refund.  We are under no obligation to refund classes that may be missed due to adverse weather conditions local to yourselves if the Toddler Sense venue and environs are safe and accessible and classes are held.

Confidentiality:  Toddler Sense prides itself on creating original and unique ideas to ensure and deliver a top quality service.  Certain content and information provided in our classes are copywritten and under ownership of Toddler Sense.  Toddler Sense grants you a limited, personal license to use ideas for home use only.  Toddler Sense kindly asks customers not to copy, reproduce, create derivative works of, reverse engineer, alter, enhance, or in any way exploit any of the Toddler Sense materials in any manner such as use of ideas in a public place or promotional event without express permission from the copyright holders.

Data Protection:
The information on registration forms includes personal data.  Toddler Sense will record, process, and keep your personal information secure in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.  Information will not be passed on or sent out to a third party.

Video and Photography:  While the atmosphere we encourage at Toddler Sense means that parents, carers, grandparents and friends should feel comfortable taking photographs or video footage of their children enjoying Toddler Sense, we would also ask that everyone remains sensitive to the feelings of others and always stop filming if asked to do so.  Toddler Sense Ashford and Maidstone cannot be held liable for the actions of third parties and, therefore, excludes to the fullest extent possible by law any liability arising from a breach of this section ('Video and Photography') by any party.

Valuables:  Any property left in vehicles, in buggies, in the entrance halls, by the sidelines, or elsewhere at the Toddler Sense Ashford and Maidstone venues is left at your own risk.  Toddler Sense Ashford and Maidstone cannot accept any responsibility for the loss or damage of any of your personal possessions.

Changes to Terms and Conditions:  From time to time these terms and conditions may be updated.  When this happens, you will either be sent an updated version or notified of minor changes.  You are free not to accept these, but you must notify us in writing of your non-acceptance within 14 days of receiving the update, otherwise Toddler Sense Ashford and Maidstone will treat its agreement with you as being subject to the updated version.
