Experience

Kelly Webb:   I am delighted to be part the Baby Sensory team in Bexley. I attended classes with my own baby and just knew I needed to be a part of the wonderful experiences the class provided!

I have worked in a nursery for 10 years - with children from 4 months - 4 years and have loved it. I have passion and enthusiasm and love working on children's development and so enjoy the smiles that come from this!

I am super-exited to be leading Baby Sensory classes and meeting lots of new babies and grown ups on their new exciting and precious journey together.

Sara Garaway:
Sara was very inspired by and very much enjoyed attending Baby Sensory with her daughter. The "Say Hello to the Sun" song was a staple in her house and her toddler proudly does the signs most nights before bed!  Sara has a wealth of experience as an occupational therapist and loves running groups. She decided to become a class leader and transfer her love of teaching and inspiring others into the baby sensory arena.  Sara is extremely excited and enthusiastic about this new opportunity and hopes to make a difference to babies' early developmental months, as well as to their mummy's/daddy's/families experience that accompany them!

Kate Soilleux:  Kate has been both a Baby Sensory and Toddler Sense class leader.  She attended Baby Sensory with both children and Toddler Sense with her younger child.  She was inspired by the stimulating and creative environments we create at Baby Sensory and loves being able to do the same for parents and babies and toddlers each week.

Renee Micklefield (Regional Co-ordinator SE London and Kent). Leader since September 2008. Fully accredited by Baby Sensory; awarded "Outstanding" leader 2012.

My journey into motherhood would not have been the same without Baby Sensory, and that is the key reason I’ve became a class leader. Some of my most treasured memories of my daughter’s “babyhood” happened at, or as a result of the things we did at Baby Sensory… Many times my husband and I have said, “Where would we be without ‘Say Hello to the Sun’”? I am really happy that I can offer classes to families in my local community and hope and believe that they will have as many wonderful experiences as my family has had. I originally set out at university to become an English teacher but my career took a different path towards marketing. I’m excited that I am now back on my original path to teach in a fun and rewarding environment. After over ten years in the workforce and having become a mother, I feel I can share my experiences and knowledge with other mums/dads/grandparents/carers... Babies truly are exceptional little people and always manage to amaze me… I look forward to welcoming you and your baby (ies) to Baby Sensory!

Nicola Archibald:  Nicola came to Baby Sensory classes with Renee in 2009 and was hooked.  She set up her own franchise in Redbridge and works as an Regional Co-ordinator leading a team of class leaders in Essex/East London.  Nicola also launched classes in Dartford in 2012 but sold her business when she became pregnant with her third child.  Since then, Nicola has recently  returned to teaching and welcomes the opportuntity to run classes local to her home in Dartford.  Nicola has taught both Baby Sensory and Toddler Sense and has been awarded “Outstanding” class leader.  She brings with her a wealth of experience and enthusiasm.  Nicola ceased leading regular sessions in March 2016 and now covers classes in Bexley from time to time.

Sarah Bright:  Sarah Bright has been a Baby Sensory class leader since 2010.  After setting up both Baby Sensory and Toddler Sense in Medway - Sarah now works as a support teacher to the South East London and Kent Teams and also works with Renee across the area as local Head of Training & Mentoring.  Sarah is also a national trainer for the Baby Sensory and Toddler Sense programmes.

Qualifications

Renee Micklefield -- BA Hons, English & Theatre and former member of La Leche League. Awarded "Outstanding" Baby Sensory class leader 2012.   Runner up "Franchisee of the Year" in the 2014 Mum and Working Awards
