Experience

My first experience of Baby Sensory was as a Mommy. Whilst on maternity leave with Harry my now 6 year old son I was looking for a weekly activity that we could enjoy together as well as an opportunity to meet other mommies and babies as we had just moved to a new area. I spotted a Baby Sensory poster and we went along to our local class, after our first session we were hooked. The activities we so much fun and in a safe, vibrant and exciting environment. I enjoyed learning about how Harry was developing and took away so many ideas for play at home. Classes also gave me a great opportunity to meet and chat with other mommies. When i gave birth to Max my youngest son I knew I had to take him along too.  Both of the boys still love 'Say Hello to the Sun' and remember the signs from when they went to class.  We all got so much out of our time at Baby Sensory that I knew I wanted to run classes of my own and bring the fun and experience to other mommies and babies.

Qualifications

I am a busy working mommy to Harry and Max.

I have passed full Baby Sensory training and am fully CRB checked.

I write a monthly column for 'The Voice' a publication distributed in Cheadle and Uttoxeter.

I have been nominated for the annual 'Whats on for Little One's' Awards 2016 for 'Most Outstanding Class Leader for under 5's.

 

Description

Award Winning Baby Development classes available to attend at Clayton Community Centre in Newcastle under Lyme. The venue offers lots of free parking and is ideally situated on the outskirts of Newcastle under Lyme with easy reach for the surrounding areas. There is a coffee shop in Northwood Garden Centre which is just next door and in easy walking distance.

Classes are also available in Cheadle in the Staffordshire Moorlands at Cheadle Cricket Club. The venue is perfectly located on the edge of Cheadle Town Centre, with lots of free parking, baby changing facilities and a beautiful cricket pavilion.  The venue offers a large, well lit and heated room and is in walking distance of Cheadle town centre where you will find plenty of places to have coffee or lunch after class.

Classes in Leek are held at the Saint Pauls Church Centre on Novi Lane. The venue offers free parking as well as baby changing facilities and is perfectly located on the edge of town next to a local primary school, nurseries and Children's Centre.

Prices

Classes at all venues are available in fixed terms of normally 6 or 7 weeks at a cost of £6.50 per session. Bookings are taken at the beginning of term and payment is requested at time of booking for the full term.

Terms and Conditions of Bookings 

Welcome to Baby Sensory classes, here is some useful information that you will need. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me at any time or speak to me in class.  Most importantly I want you to have fun with your baby during your time at Baby Sensory and I look forward to getting to know you both during your time with me.

Class Fees.

I request payment for classes a term at a time, payment should be made at time of booking to secure your place preferably by bank transfer adding your childs name as a reference or by cash in class if this is not possible.

If you would like to bring twins then I will only charge for one child.

If you are due to return to work during a term then your booking can be altered according to your return to work date, just ask for your fee to be altered accordingly at time of booking.

How to Pay:

   The preferred method of payment is by bank transfer, my account details are as follows: Account Name: Laura Johnson, sort code:  52-41-10, account number 41544757. Please add your babies name as a reference.

Renewing for a New Term.

 Prior to the end of your booking I will e-mail you information about enrolling for next term. If you would like to continue then please follow the link to the Baby Sensory website and enroll onto your chosen class.  If your payment is not received I will assume you no longer wish to continue with classes and I will make your place available to another parent and baby.

Holidays and Absences

It is really important to me to offer the same level of service to everyone who attends my classes. I understand that life can often throw a curve ball and your circumstances may change, i will do my best to accommodate anyone with an alternative term or class if required however please note that unless circumstances are exceptional refunds will not be given.

I am unable to offer holidays during a term booking. If there are any sessions you are unable to attend due to holidays or illness then i can offer you a session at an alternative venue during the same week. If this is not possible you are more than welcome to offer your place to a friend who can attend on your behalf. 

Unavoidable Class Closures

There may be an unusual occasion where I have to cancel a class due to extremely bad weather resulting in treacherous driving conditions, flooding, breakdowns, illness or if your chosen venue is unavailable. Under these circumstances I will do my best to offer an alternative class, however we reserve the right not to offer an additional class or a refund.

Friends

No doubt as you get to know and love Baby Sensory you will want to tell your friends about it. I offer no obligation taster sessions for all new mommies and babies so spread the word. Ask your friend to contact me or book a place for one of my classes on www.babysensory.com.

First Birthday Parties  

I am available for private parties at a venue of your choice at a cost of £110 for 45 minutes of sensory activities. The activities can be planned for you or you can help plan a bespoke Baby Sensory party if there are specific activities that you would like to include.  Unfortunately I am unable to offer the play area for parties.

Facebook is a great way of keeping up to date with news about classes and a great opportunity to see photo’s of your little ones, (with your permission of course).
