Experience

After attending Baby Sensory with my own daughter, I realised just how beneficial and important it was for her learning and development, but also for me to be out the house and around other like-minded people. She loved interacting with the other babies, and it was great for me to see how they were all progressing. This passion remained after we left, which led me into the decision to begin my own franchise.

I have now been teaching Baby Sensory classes for 8 months now, and had to stop due to the arrival of our 2nd baby. I absolutely love teaching the classes, meeting lots of mums, dads, grandparents, carers and of course babies. I have received lots of lovely compliments about my classes (a few which are on Facebook if you'd like to have a read), but am always thinking of ways to make them better and better.

I hope that I can teach classes that your baby and you will love and cherish.

Qualifications

I'm incredibly lucky to be part of a team that prides itself on nurturing exceptional Class Leaders. As with many of us, I was originally a mother who loved attending the programme with my own baby.

As well as experiencing classes personally, I have so far completed part of a rigorous one year training course, shadowing existing teachers and learning in great detail about the course and the philosophy behind it.

Description

Our classes are for babies from birth to 13 months. We currently host classes for 2 age ranges, one for birth-7 months and one for 6-13 months; but if you have a friend whose baby is in another age bracket and you'd like to attend with each other, then please and we'll do our best to ensure you get on together.

***Is my baby too young?***
Your baby is amazing, their brain will grow more in the first three months than at any other time in their life, it actually doubles by the time they turn one. This first year is such a fantastic opportunity to offer sensory experiences as the brain cells make connections with every new experience, every new sound, every new smell that your baby encounters. It's never too early to start stimulating the senses - even in the womb our babies listen to our voices and the wonderful rhythm of our heart beats, taste the amniotic fluid and watch the strange lights moving around. They really are fascinating these little people! I do hope you and your baby will come along to Baby Sensory to experience all the wonderful activities we have to offer!

Prices

***Baby Sensory East Devon is taking a small break to have their own baby. We hope to be back with you in July 2018 with lots of very exciting classes!***

What should I expect to pay for a Baby Sensory class?

Classes are charged at £7 per session, and run for 10 weeks

A Baby Sensory term can be joined at any point as the classes are unique to one another. So if we have already started the course don't worry about joining whenever you can. The fee would be £7.00 a session x the weeks remaining for the term; the total will automatically be worked out at checkout. So for example, if you join with 6 weeks left on the course it will be £7.00 x 6 = £42.00.

Please for any further details.

Unfortunately we cannot refund you if you are missing a session due to holiday or sickness, but as you have paid for your space you are more than welcome to offer the session you are missing to a friend and their baby to use. Please inform me of this in advance.

Discounts are offered for twins.

•      Toys and equipment are cleaned and checked each time they are used and damaged toys and equipment are immediately removed for repair or disposal, as appropriate.

•      The premises are hygienic – following the requirements of the Health and Hygiene Policy.

•      A register of children, staff and other adults is taken at the start of each session. Visitors who are not known to the setting should expect to be asked for identification.
