Jan, a mum of 2 and Nanny to 4! Is a midwife with over 30 years experience in working with babies. She is fantastic at supporting parents in building confidence, whether they are pre-or post natal. Baby Foundations has been a natural progression for her, and she is very excited to be passing on the elements we cover at Baby Foundations, all of which have been designed to make your journey in to parenthood as smooth, calm and joyful as possible.

Being a Mum of two young boys means that Kelly has first hand experience of pregnancy, childbirth and parenthood. Kelly's job in Embryology has also given her lots of experience relating to pregnancy, babies and parenthood. Kelly attended our award-winning Baby Sensory and Toddler Sense programmes with her two son's and is now an ambassador for our Baby Foundations programme.

Kelly has always been passionate about pregnancy, fertility and babies and so her career path has reflected this. Kelly started out with a First Class Honours degree in The Biology of Fertility and Embryo Development from University College London (UCL). Kelly then went on to achieve a Master of Medical Sciences degree with Merit in Assisted Reproduction Technology from The University of Nottingham. Kelly has been working in Clinical Embryology for over seven years within the field of IVF and assisted conception.

We have all the latest research at hand to guide you through the early days and make parenting the most fabulous experience you will ever have!

• Why babies cry: It can be hard to work out why your baby cries, but we explain why and show you the most effective comfort techniques.

• Wind and reflux: Symptoms are often confused with colic, but we look at important differences and provide simple solutions and techniques that really do work.

• Living with colic: Life with a colicky baby can be tough and have serious implications on the health of the mother, and the well-being of the family. Knowing why it occurs and how to deal with the symptoms can make all the difference.

• Calmer baby: 2 vital sessions, which cover everything you need to know about calming your baby and restoring balance.

• Postnatal brain development: An incredible look at your baby’s development and why it is so important to provide loving attention and stimulation from the very beginning.

£10 per person attending the session

We do offer a special rate if you would like to attend with a partner. Please contact us directly for more details.

Sessions will last around 1 hour and 45 minutes (including a refreshment break).
